Once you try eco Bamboo clothing you will not want to wear anything else!
I had no idea about bamboo clothes until I have started working as a designer and came across the bamboo material and my company’s special sport collection eco Bamboo!
As I haven’t studied any of clothing production, fibres or its technologies it was all very new and interesting for me – to learn about different types of fabric and its properties.
And bamboo definitely won in this competition with its softness, eco-friendly and all the innovative benefits itself. Skip to see all the benefits ↓
I immediately fell in love with clothes made of bamboo fibre and for sport and exercises I only wear bamboo clothes. Why? Because it has antibacterial and hypoallergenic properties, which will keep you safe and fresh during your activities. And I am not talking about the softness itself! So once you try bamboo clothes you will not want to wear anything else!
I was so happy to become part of this project and took lots of photographs of my beautiful friends to support eco Bamboo clothing!

BENEFITS OF BAMBOO CLOTHING
- Stay Fresh & Breath
Bamboo fabrics offer excellent ventilation thanks to the microscopic holes in bamboo fibre – that will make you feel fresh and dry for much longer than other fabrics. Because bamboo structure can repel moisture.
- Enjoy the softness
Bamboo fibre is naturally soft, down to the core of its very structure. The structure of each fibre is long with less end, smooth and with rounded ends and it all help to the softness of the fabric.
There is evidence that bamboo fibres naturally resist the growth of bacteria. This means they’re less likely to grow microorganisms that could lead to illness or smelly odours.
So that makes bamboo perfect for sensitive skin!
- Regulate the heat
Bamboo’s heat regulation is one of its big advantages – thanks to several insulating properties, bamboo clothing will provide additional protection against chill on a cold day.
And WHY you should choose bamboo products? If you are still not sure after all the brilliant BENEFITS of bamboo? – This might help you to include it in your wardrobe ASAP!
You might came across with these words – Deforestation, forest degradation and climate change a threat of the incredible diversity of life in forests.
So right here – Bamboo can provide a solution.
Bamboo’s ability to restore degraded land is a particularly important ecosystem service for forests. Because bamboo is the FASTEST growing land plant in the world, which some of its specious can grow more than 1 meter a day!
That makes bamboo the perfect renewable, eco-crop with multiple uses in textiles, homeware and hardware.
Beyond that bamboo is planted very organically without nasty pesticides and chemicals which aren’t even required when harvesting bamboo. This means the cultivation is natural, and never harms the environment.
Bamboo forests have enormous positive benefits for the environment as this incredibly productive plant efficiently stores carbon.
Bamboo absorbs 2x more carbon dioxide than trees, which is why they are known to act as carbon sinks. It also generates a vast amount of oxygen, totalling up to 30% more than most plants and trees.
Bamboo requires less machinery to grow: compared to cotton or other fabrics, bamboo requires almost no petroleum powered machinery to grow and maintain. Decreased water consumption: bamboo requires much less water than cotton, placing less risk on local populations which grow the crop.

- Bamboo rarely flowers and seeds, only about every 100 years or so. When it does, every plant of that same species seeds at the exact same time across the globe!
- Bamboo is edible, well, most of them (some taste horrible!) The new shoots are harvested while they are still soft. They are often used in Asian cuisine or stir fries!
